LC Record: Rodeo competitors – Back in the saddle again
All high school sports and postseason competitions sanctioned by the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association were shut down in mid-March by order of Governor Steve Sisolak in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
That also shut down the Nevada High School Rodeo Association (NHSRA) season for students in Nevada with the concern that the state finals, which competitors had been working hard to prepare for, would be canceled as well.
However, the Alamo High School Rodeo Club, small as it is, stepped forward and offered to provide facilities in which to hold the state finals.
